Steve Morse – Deep Purple (1995)

Pictured here are images taken by our managing director Leah Gallin’s father when he met Morse in LA one of his shows backstage. They ended up staying at the same motel and he was invited to go to a gig with him to his gig the next day and recorded some exclusive interviews with him.

Morse is considered one of the hardest working guitarists in the world. He is widely known for his stylistically diverse compositional skills and was voted “Best Overall Guitarist” by Guitar Player magazine for five years in a row, qualifying him for its “Guitar Player Hall of Fame”. He’s most famously played with pioneer of jazz fusion, guitarist John McLaughlin from Mahavishnu orchestra and in 1994 he joined the British hard rock group Deep Purple. Morse has played on six of their studio albums, as well as seven of their live albums.
